Whats a snake?
A snake is a legless reptile with dry scales and a wide jaw. All snakes eat meat from insects to deer. You might think "how could a snake eat a deer?" Well a snakes jaw can dislocate and pop back in for such big meals. The teath are just used to hold and or posion an animal.Of course not every snake can eat a whole deer, or inject posion into a victim, but some can.
Most people think snakes are slimy and wet but that is not true no snake is slimy and only wet when in the water. Another missunderstanding about snakes is that they like to bite people, but again snakes only bite in self defence and when they are capturing prey. |

Site Updates!
This site will be updated as often as I can. I will uptate the snake list most often until I finish. After I have all of the non scientific names I will enter the scientific names from the book I got it from "Snake" by Chris Mattison. I will also update my pictures from photovault.com. I just got a new book on reptiles and snakes which I will post on my site. |

What's New on this Page?
The Photo Pages are all new. Pages 2-6 are all default for now, but I will fix them later.
The Custom Page is also new. The only thing not in defalut in here is the Chineese picture of "The Year Of The Snake", and I have also started working on my "Handy Hints" as well. |
